In October 2022, I attended a Newman Pickleball Camp at Bell Bank Park. The facility was outstanding…. Excellent courts, excellent court layout/accessibility, excellent nets, and of course, excellent Arizona Fall weather! I look forward to playing at Bell Bank Park again, upon my next visit to AZ!

During Spring, Summer, and Fall, Lefferson Park is my “home” court. As a member of the Middletown Pickleball Association, I play in ladder leagues and open/rec play at Lefferson…. 18 dedicated pickleball courts, permanent nets, windscreens, and new LED lights…. Lefferson is an outstanding place to play.

Even though it is an hour drive from my house, it is worth it to play at Sawyer Point. This is a brand new facility (opened late Summer 2022) with 18 high quality outdoor courts with lights. It is located in an absolutely beautiful setting - nestled between Downtown Cincinnati on the north and the Ohio River on the south. These courts host open play, leagues, and tournaments. Highly recommended.

I recently played at The Pickle Shack in Delaware, OH - northwest of suburban Columbus, OH. The facility is outstanding…. On the side where I was playing, there were five dedicated pickleball courts with outstanding surfaces and rock-solid nets. The courts were separated with netting between each court, so no stray balls ever rolled on the courts and halted play - and there wasn’t any risk of rolling an ankle due to stepping on a stray ball:) I attended a Friday night open play session for three hours, and I was able to easily register for this session via the Court Reserve app.
